The Science Education Institute is in need of highly competent and with potential applicants for the following vacant positions:
Science and Technology Manpower Education Research and Promotion Division (STMERPD)

Position Title: Science Research Specialist II

Salary Grade: 16
Annual Salary: Php 439, 536.00
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures preparation and submission of project proposals including line-item budget (LIB) as planned;
- Ensures accuracy of gathered data in the development of STEM Career Promotion Programs/Projects of the Division to achieve performance standards;
- Conducts preparatory activities for the STEM Career Promotion Programs/Projects of the Division to ensure successful implementation of the project;
- Ensures effective project management such as efficient disbursement of funds, implementation of scheduled activities, and coordination with partner institutions;
- Prepares and submits required reports relative to the implementation of the project(s);
- Ensures compliance to government accounting and auditing procedures in the implementation of approved projects, as well as in the submission of fiscal reports of the Division;
- Assists in the development of communication materials and resources for the various STEM promotion programs of the Division; and
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned from time to time for the effective and efficient service delivery of the Institute.
Qualification Standards
- Education: Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
- Training: Four (4) hours of relevant training
- Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience
- Eligibility: Career Service-Professional/ Second Level Eligibility
